Robin Madaffer specializes in representing private and public sector clients in real estate, land use and environmental regulatory matters. Robin Madaffer is also a professor at California Western School of Law where she teaches Land Use and Environmental Regulation.
Robin Madaffer is the District Council Chair of Urban Land Institute (ULI) San Diego/Tijuana for 2011-2013. ULI is an international organization dedicated to providing leadership in responsible land use to enhance the total environment. Robin Madaffer is a member of the Executive Committee and Board of the Downtown San Diego Partnership. She chairs the Ending Homelessness Leadership Team, a partnership between business, government and social service agencies dedicated to ending homelessness in San Diego. Robin Madaffer received the Chairman’s Alonzo Award in 2010 for her dedication to solving homelessness issues in San Diego.
Robin Madaffer was recently named one of San Diego Metropolitan Magazine’s 40 Under 40. She is a member of Lambda Alpha International, a national real estate economics society and a former member of the Board of Directors of Community Housing Works, a San Diego non-profit organization dedicated to helping families achieve home ownership and communities build neighborhoods.
Robin Madaffer speaks regularly at various professional organizations and universities, including the San Diego County Bar Association, San Diego County Taxpayers Association, ULI, Lorman Education Services, National Business Institute, University of San Diego School of Law and University of San Diego’s Master of Science in Real Estate program, where she addresses real estate, land use, and environmental issues. She also participates as a Judge for the Moot Court Competitions for both the University of San Diego School of Law and California Western School of Law.
Robin Madaffer and her husband own Mission Publishing Group which publishes three community newspapers: The Mission Times Courier, The Mission Valley News and the La Mesa Courier. They live in downtown San Diego along with their English bulldog, Buzz.
